Privacy Policy

Plain English, no fine print: we collect what you send us, we use basic analytics to make the site better, and we never sell your information.

Last updated: July 2026

Who we are

CoverSystemsGroup ("we," "us") is a technology and growth partner based in Columbus, Ohio, serving Central Ohio and businesses nationwide. This policy explains what we do with information from visitors to coversystemsgroup.com.

What we don't do

Worth stating up front:

  • We never sell or rent your information. Ever.
  • No advertising or remarketing pixels currently. We don't follow you around the web with ads.
  • We don't add you to marketing lists without your say-so.
  • Self-hosted fonts. Our fonts come from our own site, not a third-party font network.
  • We don't combine your analytics activity with your contact-form submission to build a profile of you.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you write, plus optional details you choose to provide such as your company, business size, and the service you're interested in. You also confirm you agree to be contacted about your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

To keep the site running and to stop abuse, our systems process your IP address and standard server log data (such as the page requested and your browser type). We use your IP to rate-limit form submissions and to screen out bots. We also use analytics cookies to see how the site is used — described in Analytics and cookies below.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide the services you ask about.
  • To send you a confirmation that we received your message.
  • To protect the site from spam, abuse, and automated attacks.
  • To understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your say-so.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use our site — which pages help, which don't, and where visitors come from. We use it to improve the site, not to identify you personally.

To do that, Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects:

  • The pages you view and how you move through the site.
  • Approximate, city-level location (worked out from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses).
  • Your device type, browser, and screen size.
  • How you arrived — a search, a link, or directly.

Google processes this information as our service provider. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google's opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. The site works perfectly well either way — nothing is gated behind analytics.

Service providers we rely on

We keep our stack deliberately small. A few trusted providers process limited information strictly on our behalf, under contract, and only to make the site work:

  • Email delivery and hosting — so your message reaches our team and we can reply to you.
  • Website hosting — serves this site and keeps standard server logs.
  • Bot protection — screens our contact form to confirm you're a person and not an automated script.
  • Abuse prevention — stores a short-lived, automatically expiring counter so a single visitor can't flood our form.

None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes. If you'd like the current list of the specific providers we use, just ask us — we're happy to share it.

How long we keep it

Inquiry emails are retained in our mailboxes as business records for as long as needed to serve you and meet our obligations. Abuse-prevention data tied to your IP expires automatically within minutes. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, our form is protected against spam and abuse, and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. Security is our profession — we hold our own systems to the standard we'd set for a client.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've sent us, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email us at info@coversystemsgroup.com and we'll take care of it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws — we'll honor those requests regardless.

Text messages

We don't currently send marketing text messages. If we ever introduce an SMS program, we'll update this policy first — you would have to opt in explicitly, we would never share your opt-in information with third parties for their marketing, and you could always reply STOP to opt out.

Children

Our site and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and revise the date above.
